Spring Into Spring at SJE's Spring Concert on May 15th, 2022

For our Spring Concert on May 15th, the Sanford Jazz Ensemble pays tribute to one of the founding fathers of jazz, Louis Armstrong. Hear the trumpet section's take on "When It's Sleep Time Down South" and Ron Starks will sing the classic, "What a Wonderful World." Ron will also bring the funk with Tower of Power's "You're Still a Young Man" and "Soul With a Capital S", plus he'll be singing a soulful medley of Sam & Dave tunes.

The band will have fun with Dizzy Gillespie's "Manteca", and Freddie Hubbard's "Little Sunflower", and more! See you there!
